Stage 2 – Appearance of Signs: the period of time when phenomena related to the shift in the location of the pole become gradually more and more noticeable. (Example: Cayce 1958-1998)

Stage 3 – Tribulations: the period of time during which major activity in earthquakes and volcanic eruptions cause great concern, confusion, and uncertainty about what is happening. In the ancient myths, this was known as the breaking of Loki’s bounds in Hel, or as the time of the lighting of the torches of the Annunaki. Otherwise stated as the period during which the boundaries of motion which are created by the inertia and interior forces of the Earth begin to be overcome by the orbital and rotational forces which are acting on the Earth. Possible radically dramatic record-breaking earthquake and volcanic activity which frightens tens of millions of people. Possibly the Earth’s crust moves to the extreme edges and just beyond its normal range of wobble, but not yet very far and nor very fast. (Example: Cayce not clear)

Stage 4 – The Avalanche: the time or period when the Earth’s Crust falls towards a new orientation. (Example: Cayce 2000 or 2001)

Stage 5 – Return To Stability: The period during which the location of the spin axis becomes stable again and the geological effects "settle in" for a new era of general stability. . (Example: Cayce unstated)

Edgar Cayce described a shift in the location of the poles through a number of "psychic readings" which he gave during the 1930’s and early 1940’s. He described some of the stages of the avalanche which are listed above. For Stage (1), he claimed that a change in the Earth’s interior, resulting from factors in the solar system, would cause a shift in the Earth’s equilibrium. This, he predicted, would cause some gradual changes in certain areas during the 1930’s. For Stage (2), he claimed that this shift in the equilibrium of the Earth would begin a process of greater geological change in about 1958. He predicted that geological activity would gradually increase in fits and starts after 1958 and create a long rising trend through the remainder of the 20th century. By 1998, he predicted that we would notice an acceleration in geological activity. He did not describe Stage 3 but described Stage 4 as occurring in 2000 or 2001. During the shifting of the location of the poles, Cayce predicted that much "breaking up" devastation would occur in the western U.S. and other parts of the world .  This breaking up activity would be accompanied by volcanic upheavals in various portions of the Earth. He also stated that Northern Europe would change in the twinkling of an eye.  He went on to describe some of the specific results of the shifting of the poles, such as the sinking of New York.

Most enigmatically, Cayce also predicted that when the change in the earth is imminent, the ancient Hall of Records near the Sphinx will be opened.
