Earth Changes Bulletin Update As Of Full Moon July 24, 2002 Forget volcanoes and earthquakes, everything else is freaked out. Both the atmosphere and the minds and emotions of humanity are reeling in extreme reactions to the high levels of ionic and magnetic energies which are slamming the earth. GEO-POLITICAL As predicted and forewarned in the Oak Tree Memo, the danger of over-reaction this summer on all fronts, personal, social, economic, and political, is EXTREMELY HIGH. Even the normally competent Israeli military has fallen prey to a terrible over-reaction. After the fourth X class flare in the month, Israel over-reacted to Palestinian bombings and strafing with a brutal ugly attack which knowingly killed children and endangered countless civilians by lobbing a missile into an essentially residential compound.. The extremist manipulators among the Palestinians, including Al Qaeda, now, for nearly the first time, have an objectively real horrible act from which to foment the desire for revenge. Al Qaeda has obviously been fishing for a cause celebre for several months, in Pakistan, in India, and in Israel. Obviously Israel fell into the trap on Tuesday. Mark a score for Al Qaeda on this one, a terrible loss for Israel. SOLAR STORMS AND SUNSPOTS: Up to 210 last week, down to 130 Friday, and back up today at 220 Wow. With FIVE X-Class flares (think of X = extreme size) this past three weeks, the solar seas are terribly stormy, the Sun is in the throes of chaotic, powerful storms, flares, explosions, and intense solar winds flowing out of a long succession of coronal holes. There is no end in sight at the moment and so the DANGER OF HUMAN OVER-REACTION remains extremely high, minimally for the next two to three weeks, probably for the remainder of the summer. Sad to say but this will keep the stock market churning to lower levels but even worse it is going to cause a new round of escalating over-reaction and violence in the Middle East. Here is what NASA has to say: HERE COMES THE SUN: On July 23rd, an X4-class explosion near sunspot 39 hurled a coronal mass ejection (CME) toward Earth. The expanding cloud could reach our planet as early as Wednesday and trigger geomagnetic storms. Sky watchers should be alert for auroras. SOLAR ACTIVITY ALERT: Sunspot 39 is remarkably active. In recent days it has unleashed two X-class solar flares, caused radio blackouts on Earth, and fueled an ongoing radiation storm. High solar activity will likely continue for the rest of the week at least. Stay tuned for updates. Ahhhh, no kidding. For your own decisions, I advise trying to avoid making decisions without first going through a serious examination of the emotional elements in your motivation. If you are strongly inclined by emotions to do something, take a deep breath, relax, draw back, and meditate REAL DEEP for a while. Then ask yourself what you really want as an outcome. Avoid if at all possible any hint of divorce for at least a year. And if you are afraid about your stock portfolio, dont be. The bears are trying mightily to revalue equity in North America so they can grab more at half the price it was in 2000. They get those re-valuations from people who run in frightened herds. Why are they doing this? Because they already know now that when the bulls run again to buy it will go sailing right on up to 11,000 to 12,000. The only thing to do with stock at the moment is NOT buy and NOT sell. There are no bargains out there. There are no losers out there, except for the obvious mega-bankruptcies. The main thing out there is confusion. There may be flurries of ups, like today, and downs, like in a few days. Ignore them. Wait. I will give a signal when a stable turn around is coming. It will not be real soon, Solar Cycle 23 needs to crash and sunspot averages have to fall below 100. DROUGHT WEATHER WATCH: The sudden flare up in sunspots and flare activity has energized the Earths atmosphere to such an extent that the monsoons in the Pacific Southwest have all but dried up this past few days. A promising start early in the month has dissipated as the cloud laden air refuses to drop its moisture. The air is flowing partly due North and is not dropping much moisture until it reaches Canada. The moist air is also flowing over the Rockies toward the Northeast and is providing some of the moisture for the sudden cooling in the Midwest. This leaves the Pacific Southwest with a bizarrely surreal landscape. Drying, dying trees amidst Cactus which has become so desiccated it is falling over, with immense quantities of water scudding by in huge, thick cumulous cloud formations, which often can be seen to be raining high up in elevation but which evaporates again long before it hits the ground. Dry rain, can you believe it? The cloud cover diminishes the heat slightly, from 105 to 95, but the high humidity and sweat leaves your clothes perpetually wet. POLAR MOTION: Not nearly as strange as the sun but the anomaly is still developing As reported two weeks ago, a slight tendency to a flattening and premature turn in the spiral track of Chandlers Wobble is occurring. This tendency may pass into nothing or it may truly reflect a substantial shift in the average location of the pole in a new direction than its previous drift. It may take a few more months before we are sure of anything about this. The reason may have a lot to do with Sunspot Cycle 23s peak output of ionic energy and this possibility can be determined by studying and comparing the polar motion spirals during the peaks of previous solar cycles. At the moment this is not something I am going to take up. Perhaps later in the Fall there will be some time. EL NINO WATCH: What El Nino? As reported last week, the temperature of the water in various regions of along the Pacific Equator are normalizing out. The prospects for an El Nino developing this year are now about zero. EL POPO WATCH: Activity is suddenly way up On Tuesday, the Popocatepetl volcano showed an
increase in the number of registered exhalations. There were 80 exhalations mainly
accompanied by steam and gas. Also there was detected a volcanotectonic event of magnitud
1.9, located 1 km to the north of the crater and a depth of 5.4km. VOLCANISM Restless Status volcano count is down to 4 while Active Eruptions is up a few to 18 this week. There are 29 volcanoes on Alert Status of one kind or another, this week. (These numbers are from the Southwest Volcano Observatory, the only site on the internet which is attempting to create a database of volcanic activity from which eruptions can be predicted up to a year in advance). EARTHQUAKE ACTIVITY: Muted with random patterns of quakes in all the usual places, Overall activity level is somewhat muted in both size and frequency as of this Full Moon. More interesting, there was a 4.9 quake on the Netherlands/Germany border this past few days. Quakes of this size are quite infrequent in this area of Northern Europe. A 3.3 quake near the Cascades and Tahoma (Rainier) some 28.3 kilometers deep was reported on Monday, and a small quake of similar size was reported off Coos Bay. It is not likely these quakes are harbingers of anything since these areas are so active now. Overall activity in the Pacific Northwest is quite muted and Hood appears to have fallen back to sleep. California/Nevada is equally as boring these days. There are three more days to go on this syzygy window, so activity may suddenly upsurge, but I do not see any patterns which are worth watching, no harbingers for particular areas.
