Earth Changes Bulletin Update As Of December 26, 2002

Earth Changes Bulletin Update As Of December 26 2003

All is relatively quiet in the Earth. Beyond the wintry storms, there is not much to report except that Solar Cycle 23 is giving us at least a temporary respite. The sunspot count fell way down to 70 something on Christmas Day, the lowest it has been in some 40 months I believe. The Saturn induced solar activity, which generated this last two weeks of storms, is clearly on the wane and the weather should now be "gentling" out into more normal patterns.

Also. as speculated, El Nino is DEFINITELY breaking up rapidly and its effects probably won't be seen beyond mid February at the latest. Like I have been seeing all year, this is not a full-fledged kosher El Nino. It is kinda stillborn, if you want to beat the metaphor to death.

The sunspots will go up during January for Mercury, Jupiter, and Earth alignments. So the Pacific storm series will probably pick up again in another week or so and give us a pretty stormy winter during the last half of January.

The next hot zone for quakes is probably the Asian mainland. Two quakes above 5.0 struck today in Asia and I expect these to rise throughout the area during the rapildy approaching Perihelion of the Earth. January can be a hot month for Japan as well.

Very soon I am going to send a belated "Christmas Gift". It is extemely important news about the emergence of a strategy for curing cancer. It may be the big "positive" news for 2003. I am so excited about this news that I intend to get fully on board the movement.

For the remainder of this update, clue into the following two items. First is an article from Jon Rappoport's newsletter at - http://www.stratiawire.com/ (it is quoted below so you don't have to subscribe to get it).

The second is a link to a story about Greg Barden and his work. I think Barden is more and more a leader worth listening to. Barden is the kinda guy (not a carbon copy spiritualist, you know, a real thinker investigator), a fiercely original person which Rappoport argues we must all become to cast of the moribund illusions which have surrounded American culture at all turns with slogans which no longer refer to any real truths. The next year is gonna be that kind of year, kicking the mass media hype habit, New York's substitutes for thinking and real being, which all of us are going to be asked to kiss good bye in stronger and more concrete terrms this coming year.

Rappoport is in my opinion a very very astute guy. I have been watching him off and on for quite a while and I must admit finally, for a generalist journalist, that he has a generally excellant grasp of what is going on. He often states things in a more provocative way than I would personally use, and I am not always completely ready for all of his conclusions, but I think his assessments are well worth paying attention to. Hey I say the same things about the stuff I write and I am sure you do as well. So I think you will find him, if you have not read him, as an excellant "family" lead source for what is going on at the fundamental levels of our being.

Tuesday, December 24, 2002 WHERE IS AMERICA NOW---PART ONE DECEMBER 24. This is part 1 of a several-piece series on America---where we stand as we move into the new year. I don’t intend to cover all relevant aspects. That would take a book or a complete reading of my archive.

There is a tightening of thought in America.

A program of reducing the diversity of opinion---not just in terms of debate, say, on the war on terrorism, but on all issues of significance. And the common denominator there is a lessening, a shaving of freedom.

"We can’t afford the luxury of freedom because times are tough."

"We can’t spend time talking about where freedom really leads, because we don’t have time for that. We’re at war."

Underneath all that is the empty space in which the idea of freedom is missing. In which the idea of freedom no longer makes sense to many people.

A reader recently wrote me: "Some of my friends, who used to champion freedom, no longer discuss it. It seems nonsensical to them. They are worried about other things. They can’t get a grip on freedom anywhere. It’s like quicksilver that has rolled between their fingers. They take this abandonment of their former ideal as a sign of personal maturity."

Exactly.

What is accelerating is a sense that the image replaces reality. Words become vacuous. Ideals are trumpeted like hypnotic commands, and these ideals, no matter what their content, reduce down to: OBEY.

GO ALONG.

There is a profound disillusionment about the power of thought, as if it has lost its power, as if, now, it can never translate into any kind of action. Instead, we have to receive the symbols of ideals as hypnosis.

We can become angry, but only at the prescribed enemies.

In this atmosphere, there is danger, and there is also a chance to do something real. The arena of thought is empty, and we can move into those abandoned houses. Not with pronouncements about some new order, some new leader, but with freedom itself.

In a very true sense, the federal government is already dead. It has overstepped its authority in so many ways, for so long, that it lacks any moral justification.

The question is, how do you get rid of a corpse that still believes it is alive? How do you convince yourself that you are really dealing with a corpse?

First, you must believe that you can think your way through a very, very strange illusion. You must believe that you can overcome the urge to give in, to accept the corpse as alive.

You must believe that your own perception, when it arrives at a riveting new fact, can then be used as a force for action.

If you don’t believe that, all is lost.

Thought is not merely a circle that goes around and around. It is not merely another form of entertainment. It is, first and foremost, an instrument for new beginnings.

Even if you appear to be the only one who believes that.

America is being reduced to a series of planned slogans and their offshoots. In this atmosphere, one can imagine that he is the only awake creature dealing with armies of robots.

But there is something more going on. Under the surface, people are fully aware that their own survival is on the line. They want real news. They want real facts. It is a hunger.

Here is another tough one: The answers to what is happening in America really come from you. To the degree that you believe your own perception and thought have no chance, you will not come up with plans and projects,

To the degree that you believe your own perception DOES have power, you will, in fact, begin to generate solutions. Solutions to your own problems and the problems of the nation and the world.

So the starting point is that nexus where the mind-control of the self-appointed masters meets your own conviction that your own naked perception does have force.

That is the place to make your stand. That is the launching pad.

It is a real place if you make it so.

We all return to that place, over and over, to get inspiration. That place is where we can compare the illusions with what we ourselves perceive.
