UPDATE TO OVER-RIDING CONDITIONS

A hot wind begins to blow from Mordor, withering tender hopes of peace in the valleys.  The Imperial Faction successfully entrained Obama into bloodying his hands in Afghanistan/Pakistan during his first week in office.  They bamboozled him into authorizing remote fire attacks on purported terrorist or insurgent positions in the mountains.  How easy it was. Step by step they will lay the blood and guilts of war upon him so to ensnare him into his dedicated support of the murderous methods of the Imperials.  So it is that they always inculcate the young, naive, and inexperienced into the brotherhood of murder in the War Cult.  The Desk-Top Knights of the War Of Terror clearly still have the upper hand in Washington DC, as they have had for 28 years.  Meanwhile all Bears (no Bulls are left standing) now agree that not only is the economy sinking at least another 30% in the year ahead (some say 50%), also doomed in the present Obama Bailout Plan.  Still spiraling down, real estate and construction industries, not to mention the transportation and tourism industries, continue to close up shop for a long depression.  So also will tens of thousands of retail stores, leaving more and more shopping centers half-standing like ghost towns.

COSMIC FACTORS:  

Sunspot Count -  The Mercury | Earth alignment gave us but a one day weak peak of about 13 Sunspots on a  flux which barely cracked a smile on its current average of 69. For the past five days there was no additional activity and currently activity is ZIP on Flux 70. There persists a coronal hole in the Northeastern Hemisphere of the Sun's atmosphere and SIDC in Brussels reports that the solar wind from it again struck the Earth this morning, prompting SIDC to predict livelier conditions in the Earth's atmosphere.  (NASA is virtually silent).  The Planetary A Magnetic Index (upper atmosphere field strength) has fluctuated in the range of about 3-10 for the past month and a half and is now at about 1 (blue line on the graph above) but this number will probably change today to reflect the solar wind disturbance which flowed in in the wee AM hours.  Alaska's Fluxgate Monitor (U. of A.)  showed a large disturbance on the "surface" on the "solar sea" through which the Earth sails but conditions have already dropped to virtually calm.  NASA expects some activity and disturbances  during  the next few days from, predicting up to a 25% possibility of severe magnetic disturbances in the high latitudes.  But even if so, Solar Activity is likely to cast little influence on the Earth's atmosphere, weather, and climate regimes.  For more details on current sun go here.   For Daily Sun, go to Spaceweather.    See Planetary Alignments for longer range forecast.   January's wintry weather is likely to be influenced at least a little by the slowly awakening Sun. 

COMET WATCH BEGINNING:  - nothing new yet, this from previous weeks:

ATMOSPHERICS:  HMMMMMMMMMMMMM.  We are officially dumbfounded.  All is in doubt. Nasa has not updated or changed its prognostication of last week, which declared a full fledged La Nina in evidence.  Don't look now, but Sea Surface Temp has shown a dramatic collapse of cold temps on the Pacific Equator and a sudden surge of warm spots off the coast of Ecuador, which is also a zone of considerable underwater volcanism.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.  I will leave all last week prognostications standing and wait another week to evaluate this surprise development.  Meanwhile air mass flow is slow and pretty much what you have now is what you will get for the next three to four days, beyond that, its too chaotic in the North Pacific to call anything very clearly.  GEOPHYSICAL FACTORS:     No significant change in the average track of the Spin Axis.  Currently the Spin Axis has passed away from the Y Axis  for this spiral turn (the Spin Axis got as close to Siberia as it gets and is now headed towards Alaska).  The wobble spiral continues to expand normally in its outward track and will reach its maximum SPIRAL size on the X Axis (X MAX of its seven year cycle) during 2009 .  See Polar Motion for additional information.    

LUNAR SYZYGY:  We have been in the New Moon Lunar Syzygy since January 20  and it will extend through to January 29.  The New Moon is today and we have already past an Extreme Southern Declination of the Moon exactly in Apogee on January 22/23  This spread diluted the power of the Moon, which was at its furthest approach from Earth (Apogee) thus further diminishing the lunar influence on both tides in the oceans and on the land.  We forecasted, more probable than not, a very modest New Moon Seismic surge, with more activity in the Southern Hemisphere than the Northern. Indeed this has been the case, a minor surge appeared to peak about the 24th, fell off the 25th, and appears to have resurged today.  This small surge is likely to continue through to close to January 29.  All in all, seismic activity this Syzygy is scarcely being noticed anywhere but this could change in the next two or three days.

SYZYGY FORECAST FOR 2009:    For the most part, 2009 is likely to be a plateau year for seismic activity with little evidence of acceleration of events. The next Full Moon Syzygy begins approximately February 4 when the Moon enters into its Extreme Northern Declination on its way to Perigee on February 8 and its Full Phase on February 9-10. We can call the Syzygy finished almost immediately on February 12/13.  Obviously the Lunar influence will be diluted and quake surges likely will be modest.  This long drawn Syzygy begins the de-synchronization of the Lunar Cycles for the next three months. It also begins a period of constant diminution of the variation in the distance of the Moon. This will see Perigee less close and Apogee less far. The most distant Perigees (and most de-synchronized) for 2009 will be on April 29 and October 11. After October 11, Perigee will quickly resynchronize with the Full Moon and become much closer to the Earth, to reach closest approach during the January 2010 Perihelion.  Likely therefore that December host the second most seismic Full Moon for 2009, which will be eclipsed by the seismic activity during the Full Moon of January 2010.  The New Moon Syzygies will now become more synchronized, reaching the strongest influence over the Earth May through August, all during Extreme Northern Declinations.  The most synchronized New Moon for 2009 will be during the Summer Equinox on June 22/24.  Since both the Moon and the Sun will be over the Northern Hemisphere, this is likely to induce the maximum possible torque on the Northern Pacific Rim of Fire subduction zones.  Many Class 4+ quakes may suddenly sprout from Taiwan to Alaska to California at this time.

 QUAKES: After another minor surge on January 24, a decline on January 25, likely another very mild surge is underway and will last not more than a very few days. The relatively mild quake profiles for December and January and now continuing suggest that the Tectonic Activity trends have leveled off.  This condition should continue through much of 2009, probably no Class 8+ quakes, perhaps lower than average (of the last year) for all Class 4+.  For more on quakes go to Earthquakes. 

VOLCANISM: Much the same as last week, except the IVRC Alert List is down one. The number of active volcanoes  is not currently surging above last week's 29 but the current number is on a high plateau which is likely to build up to higher levels during the next several months, perhaps by another 20%. Currently, update reports are less numerous for the past week and activity in the 29 erupters has likely slowed somewhat. As during last Fall, Kamchatka and the Carib plates appear to be the most vigorous areas at this time. EARTH CHANGES STANDING SUMMARY -  We are entering into the Wobble MAX Spiral in the seven year cycle during a year composed of weak lunar synchronization and small Perigees (the Moon kept more distant from the Earth most of the year).   For the most part, this seems to be an auspicious year for stability in the Earth, paradoxically, but keep in mind that the Earth's crust is complex, anything can and sometimes does happen at any time, and thus no accurate predictions can be made consistently.  The Earth Changes Global Warming scenario is more difficult to predict and the weather effects are more chaotic at this time.  Solar input is very low so far and is likely to remain so for most of 2009, about the same as last year, hence Greenhouse Gas effect is zip, if not negative.  Accordingly Global Warming and all extreme weather patterns are being driven this year almost exclusively by the warming of the world ocean which now appears to have slowed as well.  Human conditions remain confused and contrarian, war and peace trends are unclear but clearly a major push is being made to instigate reasons for imperial expansion. Malignant forces in the Imperial Faction fully intend a major expansion of violence in Central Asia, centered around Afghanistan and Pakistan. Economic conditions continue to disintegrate, most prognosticators are now Bearish on most economic issues, the Obama Bailout program is clearly a pike in a poke, vainly concealing the fact that his "team" has not a clue to how to make economic recovery.  How long the political class in Washington DC will fumble and bumble in their complex but complete misunderstanding of how the world works is the question of the year.

GEO-ECONOMIC FLUX - - no change from last week.

Chaos rules at the moment and a deep panic is rippling around the world.   It will probably take another year or two to fully mature. The Cayce 25 year economic cycle has come to fruition almost a year later than I predicted in 2004, but still very close to Cayce's specs and to the specs laid out in "The Coming Economic Collapse of 2006".  Major exception, the Chinese, Russian, and Euro economies are more closely tied to the structure of the U.S. Bubble Inflation than I supposed, they are falling much harder than I thought they would.  But they should be able to rebound more quickly as they adjust their trade patterns to support each other more strongly.

The only people feigning optimism is the political class who are clueless and as always a full generation behind the times.

All Bears signal another 30% to 50% drop coming, all the asset appreciation of the Clinton-Bush years will be gone in another 12 months.

Oil, down and likely will be down in the current price range for the next two years, perhaps even puddling down to $20  a barrel (and gasoline at under a buck).  That is when you will know what you have hit the bottom of the Great Depression during the Collapse of the Last Empire.

The banksters and oil monarchies will fix a stable price again but it is difficult to guess where this will be at this time, it will take some several months, maybe a full two years to reel in.  They would much prefer the $100 range but with worldwide depression howling in the wind, not a chance for at least a TWO YEARS.  With depressed oil price, so goes gold and all commodity prices for many many moons.  

For all parties, the only exit is to dump Globalism.  No one has the vision to rebuild the planetary economy as a whole, it must be done at the community and national levels, as of the days of old.  Anybody who claims otherwise is completely ignorant of history and is a frothing at the mouth radical lunatic who wants to experiment with your life.

So the question is where to dump the dough down to bake the bread of the next economic real boom (not bubble).

NEW SUMMARY COMING SOON 

The downside of low prices for oil is the tremendous braking effect this will have for alt. energy schemes.  Shades of the alt energy bust of 1982 under the Reagan Regime.  For at least the next year a lot of stuff will come along more slowly because the markets are currently much slimmer than they were just six months ago.  Whatever emerges from alt energy, will have to be a strong techno breakthrough to break the oil monopoly when the price of energy is below $50 per barrel.  A review of the heavy research in alt energy is enough to convince me that such a breakthrough is now occurring and it will take only a matter of months and a few years to generate the wave of activity which busts out the R&R Cabal.  Miraculously, there are a few mutually independent pathways which will get us to the right place and all of these are already in inventor garages, close to being more aggressively promoted. The cost of hydrogen production, for instance, has been dropped to 10% or even possibly to 1% of its former BTU requirements by at least four different approaches, which changes EVERYTHING about the sociology of power on the planet Earth.

So for the real economic fix, go with alt energy, that is it in a nutshell.  For all else, especially for failing industries and governments, go with Michael Moore's Maxim.  Fire 'em!  . Fire all the auto execs and other industries in trouble, buy their outstanding stock, and shove the companies into restructuring processes.   Don't fall for their scams. Why is the Tribune declaring bankruptcy?  Because the rich families which owned them sold them to a conglomerate which borrowed all the money from banks to buy them from the previous wealthy owners who are now ever so much wealthier.  So a profitable industry was made a debt-ridden industry and now cannot pay its interest and debt payback.  Liquidate the conglomerate, throw off the debt, leave the newspapers free standing, and let the banks sue the crap out of the manipulators who put together the conglomerate. It is that simple.  IT IS THEY WHO OWE THE MONEY.

Every one of the failing financial institutions is just a variant of a Ponzi Scam, most of them run by white-collar Ivy League Jewish gangster networks.  Bust em. Break em. Dissolve them into oblivion.  Sue all of them and prosecute the entire class any way possible for breach of fiduciary responsibility.

PROGNOSIS ON AMERICAN POLITICS:  As Obama suggested, time for hope.  Create certainty, go get solar and hydrogen fuel technology to dissolve the power of the corporations and bankers.   Every solar BTU kicks Rockefeller butt.

SPIRITUAL FLUX  - - 

On the horizon, still too dim to be clearly perceived by most, forces in the Spirit Realm are pushing aggressively for more rapid transmutation of conditions and actions.   Rather suddenly, in some cases, the masses and classes will realize with a start that the world has changed dramatically, in some cases never was what we thought it was, the old concepts about as useful as the clothes we wore in our school days.

As previously reported, the power of the Blue Star Kachina continues to grow as a major ingress of higher plane energy expands for those seeking it.  Look for a small blue diamond in the inner most recesses of your mind's eye.  Reach deeply inside your experience of the now.  Seek for the "feeling" of an energy or vibration within your head.  REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER.  Awaken to the higher energy.  Now is truly the time to build an internal link to consciousness of this energy.  As this link strengthens, the internal power of lucid peace will grow, hopefully strongly enough to surmount the highly charged emotional astral chaos of the next Solar MAX, which most likely will be the most chaotic period of human existence in several decades, quite possibly for several centuries.
