UPDATE TO OVER-RIDING CONDITIONS

MORE PROBABLY THAN NOT, IKE SHOULD STRIKE MEXICO'S YUCATAN, NOT THE NORTH GULF COAST AS PREDICTED BY THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER, unless other players are involved.

SPECIAL SKY WATCH ON SEPTEMBER 8 -  TONIGHT Jupiter and the MOON will be very close together, making quite a bright conjunction visible to even city dwellers.  Look to the mid-heavens but down towards the south.  I tried vainly all last week to see the cluster of the inner planets at sunset but too much haze and hills were in the way.  The only one I saw was Venus. Mercury and Mars are now too far gone  The rest of the sky for this week is about the same as the last few weeks. Click here for sky chart.

COSMIC FACTORS:  

Solar MIN IS AT ABSOLUTE MINIMUM during this period of transition to Cycle 24 (which may come anytime from September 2008 through 2009).  Sunspots have been zip since July 21, giving us 49 days at absolute MIN.  With the exception of a brief rise in Solar Activity in mid July, which persisted for only three days, the Sun has been almost flat line ZIP since June 23. Solar Flux is also flat line at about 66 or 67. Not withstanding a half-baked attempt in NASA to count a "half-spot" in the form of a barely visible magnetic storm, the  Official WORLD sunspot count for August is ZERO, first such month in 12 years (1996). There are a couple of small coronal holes (in the Sun's atmosphere) and the Earth has entered into modest solar wind disturbances.  NASA reports auroras seen in the high northern latitudes and predicts more to be seen during the next few days. . The Planetary A Magnetic Index (upper atmosphere field strength) remains low below 5 but Alaska's Fluxgate Monitor Graph (U. of A.) shows a few very modest disturbances in the "surface" on the "solar sea" through which the Earth sails. Since Mercury's alignments with the planets during this Solar MIN have failed to serve as predictions for solar activity, no predictions are in the offing at this time  See Planetary Alignments for longer range forecast.  For more details on current sun go here.   For Daily Sun, go to Spaceweather.   Keep in mind that conditions could become unstable, chaotic, and full of disturbances at any moment during the next three weeks while Mercury aligns with Jupiter and Earth aligns with Uranus in a double header during September 8-14.   As it has been for the past several months,  the Sun is not really very ready for major activity in the nascent Solar Cycle 24 and it has proven impossible the past several months to consistently predict the emergence of sunspot activity. 

SPECIAL NEW CHARTS ADDED TO THE COSMIC FRAME PAGE.  Three charts, which break and make with great clarity certain fundamental paradigms about the past and future, have been added to the Solar Section.  They are just the tip of the iceberg of many more charts and correlations.  They include the "Al Gore Global Warming Paradigm Buster", and two charts which show the history of the Solar Cycles for the past 100 years and the connection of major Solar Cycle activity with the alteration of Earth's Wobble, the trend of tectonic changes in the Earth, and the shifting of the poles.  This information is intended for Book Three of the Return of Phoenix trilogy but I have decided to begin the release of this important information which has not yet been understood.  If you have been getting the gist of the discussion in the EC Bulletin for the past few years, you will understand enough about these charts to see their fundamental importance in pointing towards an entirely new paradigm of the science of the Earth. ATMOSPHERICS:   In general, Hanna, as predicted, went up the Atlantic Seaboard and was greatly reduced by the time it could be felt on the coasts.  But contrary to impressions last week, the other storm in the Atlantic, IKE, is battering Cuba and is poised to strike North American with Category 3 force.  NOAA predicts IKE will strike the North Gulf Coast.  I predict IKE  is weakening and will hit Mexico.  A small Pacific storm has  become an intense squall and it may gravitate over Baja into the Southwest during the next few days. .   The most significant storm front REMAINS a gyre which has moved to the North Pacific near the Aleutian Islands.  It will deliver another massive broadside to the coast of North America from Vancouver, Canada to the Yukon and Alaska.  It will shove a lot of moisture from the North Pacific Gyre Hotspot across North America, even perhaps early Snow in the high elevations and latitudes.

MOST CONDITIONS CONTINUE AS STATED LAST WEEK, Solar Activity will likely not much influence this Earth's weather this summer and this is likely true for a major portion of the Fall and well into the Winter of 2008.  All sea surface temperature patterns are muting out the ocean climate regimes, including now in the East Pacific, where El Nino is not currently growing.  All other conditions seem to be in flux now and more chaotic change is likely.  California will remain hot and dry.  More likely than not, Atlantic hurricane season will remain lackluster.  THE ONLY EXCEPTION FROM LAST WHICH IS APPARENT is that El Nino formation is stalled.  I now concur at this time with NOAA's assessment that 2008 will probably be an ENSO-Neutral year.  El Nino may begin to become a noticeable influence this coming Winter and signs may become visible in late November 08.   (NOAA's material on the weather oscillations is getting pretty sophisticated and are getting closer to a total systems perspective).   In general, NOAA believes this year is going to be hotter and drier than normal for much of North America but the patterns are likely to make sudden, chaotic shifts.  Old Farmer's Almanac expects a cold, early Winter.  I expect chaotic patterns because of the loss of Solar entrainment and the noticable shift of geophysical entrainment of the Northern atmosphere into the Artic and North Pacific Gyres, but probably nothing much extreme at this time.   For the next ten days of  NOAA weather predictions, go to Climate Center Weather Maps. As can be seen at this site, weather forecasts for the entire season ahead are now becoming routine.

 GEOPHYSICAL FACTORS:     The wobble spiral continues to expand in its outward track.  See Polar Motion for additional information.     The Moon is headed to Full but it is out of synch with its other two primary orbital cycles.   The Lunar Orbit Cycles are still de-synchronized but they will begin to re-synchronize by the next New Moon and progressively make the Lunar influence stronger and stronger at the Syzygy points (New and Full Moon).  The Moon is now just past Apogee in an Extreme Southern Declination September 8/9 on its way to Full on September 15/16 and the next Perigee about September 18/19. This is a long drawn Syzygy, sort of, which does not end until about September 21.  Unusual tectonic activity should not be expected, it should run below average levels.   See The Lunar Cycle  for more details. 

For quakes go to Earthquakes.  Magnitudes and frequency are running on the low side for Class 4+ world quakes.  Class 6+ quakes also slightly depressed.  Current activity widely dispersed.   This year's season for world volcanism definitely ended during July/August, as is typical for that time of year.   Few volcano reports have been updated during this past week and largely they detail small ash plumes, some minor gas, minor explosions, and minor lava expression in perhaps a half dozen. The IVRC Active List is now down to 29, a downgrading of 7 during the two weeks. The Restless List remains at 4 and the Alert List remains at 81.  The over-all impression is still the same: smoldering fires which are dying rapidly.  The ever-flowing Kilauea is barely alive.  Etna remains virtually silent. This year's highly active Northwestern Arc of the Pacific Rim of Fire is now almost silent.  In accordance with past wobble cycles and the general average trend of increase in volcanic activity, I expect that volcanic activity during 2008 will be about the same as 2007 or abate by a small percentage. GEO-ECONOMIC FLUX - - 

SAMO SAMO - ALL FALL DOWN, EXCEPT THAT INFLATION IS SOOOARING....AS PREDICTED HERE SINCE 2004, and many sources expect double digit inflation to be perfectly obvious by the end of 2008 - NO WAIT, some now expect 20% inflation during 2009  SOOOARING towards a looney orbit.

Why?  Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia, and a dozen other half-baked Zionazi militarism schemes are bankrupting the Empire.  Unfortunately, signs point to the sad fact that the wilting U.S. economy is pulling all others down with it, more than expected.  Oops. 

Well, sorry, time to go.  For Europe, this condition is likely to be shorter term than in America. Structurally Eurasia DOES NOT NEED THE AMERICAN ECONOMY and its Banker Ponzie Scheme of debt rolled into ever larger pyramids of huck, shuck, jive, and war profiteering.  Make sure your family is ready to ride out two to six years of hard economic times and enormous political confusion about what the real issues are and how to resolve them.  Keep in mind that the way out of this time and condition is the Solar Hydrogen revolution. T. Boone Picken's plan for Wind Farms and Natural Gas Conversion is a very good beginning for embarking on an ambitious re-industrialization plan for the U.S.

GEOPOLITICAL FLUX - -  

PROGNOSIS ON AMERICAN POLITICS:  Other than the fact that the management and coverage of BOTH the Democratic AND Republican National Conventions had the quality of being nearly completely divorced from reality in favor of mass propagandizing of certain never-never-land  "scripts" and "message points", all is well.  The Republicans have set sail to retire in a Home for the Demented while the anti-war and peace movements have been completely betrayed by the Democrats.  The real debate and divide in North America has been completely ignored and turned into taboos which cannot be mentioned, most majority opinions are systematically ignored, the Democrats have been reprogrammed to serve up another round of power grabbing by Globalists, Progressives everywhere are sliding into deep depression, Conservatives are abandoning all hope, and American soldiers are still dying daily for the war-rackets of Rockefeller-Rothschild Inc pretty much as they have been for the past 120 years.  Yes, all is well in America.  Good Nite and Good Luck, Bunky, you sure are going to need it.  Go get solar and hydrogen fuel technology to dissolve the power of the corporations and bankers.   Every solar BTU kicks Rockefeller butt.

EARTH CHANGES STANDING SUMMARY -  In accordance with the Cosmic Frame, the next month of volcanic and seismic activity will likely be at low levels.  Tectonic activity likely will begin to surge again November 08 to January 09 during the next phase synchronicities between the lunar and terrestrial orbits.  But keep in mind that the Earth's crust is complex, anything can and sometimes does happen at any time, and thus no accurate predictions can be made consistently.  The Earth Changes Global Warming scenario is more difficult to predict and the weather effects are more chaotic at this time.  Solar input is very low this year, about the same as last year, hence Greenhouse Gas effect is zip, if not negative, accordingly Global Warming and all extreme weather patterns are being driven this year almost exclusively by the warming of the world ocean.  Human conditions remain confused and contrarian, war and peace trends are unclear, though expansion of wars seems unlikely at this time.  Economic conditions continue to disintegrate, most prognosticators are now Bearish on most economic issues.

SPIRITUAL FLUX  - - 

As previously reported, the power of the Blue Star Kachina continues to grow as a major ingress of higher plane energy expands for those seeking it.  Look for a small blue diamond in the inner most recesses of your mind's eye.  Reach deeply inside your experience of the now.  Seek for the "feeling" of an energy or vibration within your head.  REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER.  Awaken to the higher energy.  Now is truly the time to build an internal link to consciousness of this energy.  As this link strengthens, the internal power of lucid peace will grow, hopefully strongly enough to surmount the highly charged emotional astral chaos of the next Solar MAX, which most likely will be the most chaotic period of human existence in several decades, quite possibly for several centuries.

The Changes In The Earth - Global Summary

A RECENT CHART DEFINES "THE CHANGE IN THE EARTH". Click to see the threefold trend in world quake activity 4+ for 1973-2007. This increase in seismic energy is signaling all the other Changes In The Earth, including Global Warming.  Daily average frequency of 4+ quakes has risen from 11 in 1973 to about 35 in 2007.  The average rose dramatically during 2005/06 and is currently lower.  The daily average for 2007 will probably rise a little by the end of the year and may rise more slowly during the next few years.  Statistics are tricky master illusionists so be careful with this following thought:  an exponential growth curve can be drawn through earthquake data 4+ to project another DOUBLING of the current frequency by about 2020.
