CLARIFICATIONS OF TWO MAJOR CONFUSIONS ABOUT THIS SOLAR CYCLE 24 WHICH ARE ON THE IWAY AT THIS TIME: 

Some people are remarking about HOW UNUSUAL the low level of Solar Activity currently is. Some even have confused the cycle to suppose that the Sun is supposed to be in its MAX condition during the later part of this year.  DON'T BE CONFUSED.  THERE IS NOTHING UNUSUAL ABOUT THE LOW LEVEL OF SOLAR ACTIVITY DURING THE LAST 18 MONTHS.  WE ARE IN SOLAR MIN, A CONDITION OF VERY LOW SOLAR ACTIVITY WHICH RE-OCCURS EVERY 7-13 YEARS, GENERALLY ABOUT EVERY 11 YEARS.   Since the cycle varies in length, there is nothing unusual about any current timing factor. Everything is well within historical occurrences.  Sometime during 2009 the Sun will most likely begin a vigorous ascent to its MAX levels of activity, which it will likely reach sometime 2011-2013.  However, this projection is based on "average" expectations.  It could remain low until 2010 and not reach the next MAX until 2013.

Another confusion surrounds the likely size of the next Solar MAX.  Using advanced physics modeling, some people expect a much larger than normal Sunspot MAX, others using short term statistics expect a smaller MAX than usual.  Reality is that the PEAK OF SOLAR CYCLE 24 MAX IS PROBABLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CALL ON scientific grounds (if one knew all that humans knew on the topic). BUT, my personal GUESS from the cycle stats and rhythms of the past two hundred years is that the next cycle will be larger than normal.  From the point of view of human politics, it would be a good thing if the next cycle is lower than average.  Such an event most likely would lay to rest definitively the theory of greenhouse gases since Global Warming will continue to trend upward as a result of the current round of accelerated tectonic warming of the world ocean (heat flux through the Great Rift).

COSMIC FACTORS:  

Solar MIN continues VERY MINIMUM with a small average monthly Sunspot Count hovering close to one.  The Sunspot Count was  0 the past week , accompanied by flat line Flux of 66.  The prior week's spike apparently rose to greet the alignment of Venus and Saturn today and tomorros, which is within the range of the average time window of solar response.  As has been true for most the past three months, there has been and is almost no other Solar Activity of note during this time.  There are no coronal holes, no solar wind stream, not much in the way of even minor magnetic disturbances.  NASA advisories for Solar Activity are at low levels.  The Planetary A Magnetic Index (upper atmosphere field strength) is close to zero today after a small spike last week. Alaska's Fluxgate Monitor Graph shows only very minor small chops during the past 24 hours.  It is likely that much bolder Sunspot Peaks will emerge any day now for the planetary alignment on August 7 but the Sun remains  too inert to predict very much at all.  See Planetary Alignments for longer range forecast.  For the next 48 hours, NASA predicts a 1%  or less probability of major explosive or flare events on the Sun with a 1% to 15% probability of major magnetic disturbances in the Earth's atmosphere in the higher latitudes.  For more details on current sun go here.   For Daily Sun, go to Spaceweather.   Keep in mind that conditions could become unstable, chaotic, and full of disturbances at any moment during the next few weeks while Mercury aligns successively with Saturn, Venus, and Mars.  The planetary alignments during the next two weeks are likely to build small surges and declines in the Solar Flux and a small surge in Sunspots.  As it has been for the past several months,  the Sun is not really very ready for major activity in the nascent Solar Cycle 24. 

ATMOSPHERICS:   Solar Activity will likely not much influence this Summer's weather.  The North Atlantic Oscillation is growing again off the coast of Newfoundland even as it decays in northeastern Atlantic.  This will probably allow a normal Summer in Western and Northern Europe but a stormy Summer and Fall in New England - Newfoundland.  Once again, the North Pacific Gyre Hot Spot is larger and warmer than ever, now centered between Latitudes North 40 and 50, from the International Dateline to Kamchatka Peninsula.  El Nino on the Pacific Equator has decayed partly into the average temperature range, but not by much.  These factors will decidedly form much of the weather dynamics for the Summer months.  Look for conditions to remain similar to existing conditions in North America, with the Monsoon in the PSW remaining productive of rain.  More likely than not, Atlantic hurricane season will remain lackluster and at the tail-end of the season, El Nino will begin to become a noticeable influence on late Fall or early Winter weather.  In general, NOAA believes this year is going to be hotter and drier than normal for much of North America but the patterns are likely to make sudden, chaotic shifts.  Expect anything, especially after the start of the Monsoon and Hurricane seasons.   For the next ten days of  NOAA weather predictions, go to Climate Center Weather Maps. As can be seen at this site, weather forecasts for the entire season ahead are now becoming routine.

 GEOPHYSICAL FACTORS:     The wobble spiral continues to expand in its outward track.  See Polar Motion for additional information.   Even now we are entering the Syzygy for the New Moon of August 1/2.   The New Moon Syzygy will extend though about August 4/5 to encompass a weak Perigee and Extreme North Declination (July 28/29).  The strongest impact of this syzygy should be seen about July 29-August 2.   I do not expect to see as much activity as the previous New Moon or Full Moon Syzygies but I do expect to see some stronger than average quakes in the Northern Hemisphere...practically in any of the usual zones.

 Meanwhile,  the decline in world volcanism continues.  Despite vigorous eruptions in the Northern Arc of the Pacific Rim of Fire (three on Kamchatka Peninsula and also at Ukmok and Cleveland in the Aleutians) most volcanoes are less active this week and most reports have not been updated for at least a week.  Our herald Etna on Sicily continues to cool off, leaving only a few embers for this week.  Even Kilauea continues muting its eruption.  Bucking the world trend, along with the Northern Arc, some of the Carib Plate volcanoes appear to heating up again, especially Fuego in Guatemala and Soufriere Hills on Montserrat in the Caribbean.  Currently the Active List is the same at 33 as is the Restless List at 2.  The Alert List is still at 77, the active erupters remain virtually the same, and over all activity as described in the reports seems to be generally down even from a week ago.  Popo and Colima are  barely alive with only a few puffs of ash and steam each day, but  Erebus, Stromboli, Yasur, and Arenal continue their long ever-lasting eruptions.  (These typically produce lava lakes, lava fountains, and strombolian explosions). SO FAR THIS JANUARY PREDICTION IS PRECISELY ON TRACK: "In accordance with past wobble cycles and the general average trend of increase in volcanic activity, I expect that volcanic activity during 2008 will be about the same as 2007 or abate by a small percentage."

GEO-ECONOMIC FLUX - - 

ALL FALL DOWN, EXCEPT THAT INFLATION IS SOOOARING....AS PREDICTED HERE SINCE 2004.   Iraq is bankrupting the Empire.  Oops.  Well, sorry, time to go. We can always take our remaining marbles and play True Life Imperial Adventures in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Obamastan.  Just make sure your family is ready to ride out two to six years of hard economic times and enormous political confusion as the Democon Party follows the Republicrook Party into disintegration.  Both are now toppling inward from their own massive corruption and stinking deceptions.  The slide from this point will keep on going in a downward direction.  For additional details go to Geo-Political-Economics.

GEOPOLITICAL FLUX - -   Even as the Warcasters "love" the newly announced Obama Globalist Agenda to death, the Democrats ARE MORE CONFUSED THAN EVER.  As the realization spreads into actual waking rage that the anti-war and pro-peace movements have been hoodwinked by the Lowest Arts of Sleight-Of-Hand and that the growing "truth" movements will not obtain even a "scintilla" of recognition for bringing the high crimes, treasons, and imperial programs into public account, the Democons will begin to hollow out and cave into fragments.  McCain and the Republicrooks will preach fear fear fear the terrorists.  Obama and the Democons will preach fear fear fear Nutty Old Man McCain and the CIA's Alqaeda Finger Puppets in Whereeverthefukistan.  Nothing much else will be permitted on the public agenda nor in the Warcast Sorcery Machines, except a growing tide of so-called "terrorist incidents", even as already can be seen this week.  They will throw in a few half-baked PR glittering generalties about economic fixes and to lubricate the fear, the R&R Caballeros will drop the price of gas by another 20% sometime in September.  All this will give plenty of play for the rise of Ron Paul write-in insurgencies, Libertarian appeal, and Nadar activism.  It it entirely possible that the Presidential elections could deadlock with no candidate winning a majority.

PROGNOSIS ON AMERICAN POLITICS:  As was widely feared, it is now appearing that Obama has bought into too many of the illusions of the war-crafters to help extricate the people of North America from the accelerating fascist flood. The massive walls of ego denial are still so strong in the U.S., including among those on the so-called left of so-called" center"  that the greatest and most accurate critics of the Cabal's Junta and quisling Democrats are now those who have previously been labeled conservatives...  It will be some time yet before sanity returns to the governance of the Americans.  When it does return, it will emerge out of new and different institutions.  The existing ones are such a travesty that an intelligent honest man simply cannot find a way to use them to productive ends.

PROGNOSIS ON WAR & PEACE:  The west continues to collapse economically, Globalist Ambitions will continue to sag, Israel's false-flag operations fail because of increasing 'whistle-blowing", the Republithug Party disintegrates visibly and tangibly (probably forever), Iran continues to stand, the Zionazi window closes with the election of Obama, Iraq has reduced America to the same result that Great Britain had in India in 1948 (get out while the getting is good), Obama continues to surprise everyone, a huge struggle in the Democratic Party is already beginning which will bring the disintegration of the Democrats, the splinter movements will begin to coalesce into two new parties, both of which will be militantly anti-imperial.  Ron Paul's movement will also surprise everyone, it will continue to grow and may become the main stream replacement of the current Republithug Party, and finally, during ensuring years, the Neocons, imperialists, and Globalists will run like cockroaches for whatever covers they can contrive as they attempt a disappearing act.

EARTH CHANGES STANDING SUMMARY - The surges of tectonic motion in the Earth's crust during the first several months of 2008 probably have played out for at least a few months.  In accordance with the Cosmic Frame, the next few months of volcanic and seismic activity will likely be at lower levels with less destructive magnitude and frequency. Tectonic activity likely will begin to surge again November 08 to January 09 during the next phase synchronicities between the lunar and terrestrial orbits.  But keep in mind that the Earth's crust is complex, anything can and sometimes does happen at any time, and thus no accurate predictions can be made consistently.  The Earth Changes Global Warming scenario is more difficult to predict and the weather effects are more chaotic at this time.  Solar input is very low this year, about the same as last year, hence Greenhouse Gas effect is zip, if not negative, accordingly Global Warming and all extreme weather patterns are being driven this year almost exclusively by the warming of the world ocean.  Human conditions remain confused and contrarian, war and peace trends are unclear, though expansion of wars seems unlikely at this time.  Economic conditions continue to disintegrate, most prognosticators are now Bearish on most economic issues.

As previously reported, the power of the Blue Star Kachina continues to grow as a major ingress of higher plane energy expands for those seeking it.  Look for a small blue diamond in the inner most recesses of your mind's eye.  Reach deeply inside your experience of the now.  Seek for the "feeling" of an energy or vibration within your head.  REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER.  Awaken to the higher energy.  Now is truly the time to build an internal link to consciousness of this energy.  As this link strengthens, the internal power of lucid peace will grow, hopefully strongly enough to surmount the highly charged emotional astral chaos of the next Solar MAX, which most likely will be the most chaotic period of human existence in several decades, quite possibly for several centuries.

The Changes In The Earth - Global Summary

A RECENT CHART DEFINES "THE CHANGE IN THE EARTH". Click to see the threefold trend in world quake activity 4+ for 1973-2007. This increase in seismic energy is signaling all the other Changes In The Earth, including Global Warming.  Daily average frequency of 4+ quakes has risen from 11 in 1973 to about 35 in 2007.  The average rose dramatically during 2005/06 and is currently lower.  The daily average for 2007 will probably rise a little by the end of the year and may rise more slowly during the next few years.  Statistics are tricky master illusionists so be careful with this following thought:  an exponential growth curve can be drawn through earthquake data 4+ to project another DOUBLING of the current frequency by about 2020.
